Pay IT Forward to UP's #1 Fan

Donation protected
The University of Portland (UP) men's soccer program is a family that spans decades and through all the ups and downs, we have had the full support from the campus and community.

Over the last decade, our #1 supporter has been Darcy Foster Judge!

For those of you that don't know Darcy, she works at Bon Appetit on the UP campus and you'll see her at every home game on the bluff.

She gives so much of herself to UP athletics, the men's program, and every student-athlete. You can always rely on a spread of cookies from Darcy to celebrate a big win, pick us up after a tough loss, or to help us get through finals week. She'll sit with you during lunch and ask you about your big tests coming up, how your girlfriend is doing – and even drop in some tactical advice on what we should focus on next game!

"Darcy has always helped UP's student-athletes, not just myself. She’s been selfless for the time that I’ve known her. Darcy has always helped us get our food when we had to run to class and when we were in a rush." - Rey Ortiz

"From the day I first met Darcy she was always so welcoming and loving towards the team, our program, and UP athletics in general. She is and will always be a blessing in disguise. She was a motherly figure always providing guidance, insights, supporting us on and off the field - and cookies. She always supported us throughout our time at UP and afterward, now its time to pay it forward and give her the same love and support she gave us." - Eddie Sanchez

"Darcy is an inspiration. From the moment I walked on campus, she was there to support anyone who she came into contact with. She is kind, compassionate and the most supportive person I have met. No matter the circumstances, you could spot her in the crowd at any and all of our games. Her support never wavered whether we won or lost. I don’t think she ever really cares if we win as long as everyone is healthy. You could always count on a kind smile and a warm batch of amazing cookies. Words can’t describe the magnitude of Darcy’s kindness and strength. She was and currently remains a positive impact in my life and a crucial part of the UP soccer family." - Steven Evans

"Darcy is truly one of a kind. Seldom have I met someone who lights up a room quite like her. She does this through her positive outlook, kind words of encouragement, and of course... her famous caramel bars. I’m so proud to call Darcy a friend, and I can’t wait to get back to the bluff to give her a big hug!" - Matt Coffey

During the pandemic, many people that work on the UP campus were furloughed due to the lack of students currently attending in-person classes. Darcy was among that unlucky group.

During the holidays, and in 2020 specifically, when we are all thinking about giving back – we are asking everyone that is fortunate enough to help us pay it forward to support Darcy.

How can you help?

1. Give a few dollars that will go directly to Darcy
- we'll make sure she doesn't use this on cookies for the team

AND/OR

2. Share a story in your network about how Darcy or another member of the UP community supported you during your time at UP -
please include this link as you share your story.

Thank you for your support in our goal to pay it forward to support Darcy!
