Pay The Late Fees End The Worries

Donation protected

Hello,
My husband, George Rich, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He is no longer able to work due to this tragic diagnosis. George has been supporting me, his disable wife, through a medical condition caused by trauma which has caused me to retreat from working to allow my brain to heal. He has done so with an inner strength and a positive attitude.

Many years ago, George came to Randolph to run the projector at the Playhouse theater. After some time, he purchased the theater and provided hours of fine entertainment to the community for a decent price. What some don't know is that while he ran the theater he was often known to contact families he knew were too poor to ever pay fora ticket and would offer them free seat for family friendly movies.

He started Video Vault when movies began to be recorded for in-home entertainment. He ran several locations so that local families didn't have far to travel to access their affordable movies. What you might not realize is that for him to do the traveling to stock all the locations with the hottest new titles he sacrificed time to be with his own family. With the arrival of Redbox and Netflix George was forced to close the doors to his business.  The accounting at the end of the business showed that over $40,000.00 was owed to him, by the community he provided this wonderful service to, in the form of unpaid overdue fees.

George has spent the last 5 plus years dedicated to working for Chandler running the Randolph Village laundromat. He made it a safe place to do laundry 24/7/365 without ever taking a sick day until the cancer arrived. George has joyfully accepted wash and fold clients whose medical issues cause them to have baskets full of clothing soaked by urine and marked with traces of fecal matter because he dedicates his whole energies to the idea that he is responsible for doing whatever he can possibly do to make our town a true community.

Due to the chemo therapy protocol George may have to re-home his beloved cats (Smudge, Moonlight and Kirby) and his best K9 friends (Rider and Chander). He would rather he could afford to have them fostered and returned when he is healthy again, or be able to pay for a local person to be payed a fair wage to come to his home to help care for them. I think it would be so wonderful if the communty were to band together and show him how much he is respected and loved for the decades of selflessness. Everyone been sending thoughts and prayers, and that is appreciated and keeps his faith alive that he will battle the cancer and win.  I think it would be great if the community, he has dedicated his time and efforts to for decades, might see him through this rough time by finally paying up the overdue fees and removing the threat he will not be able to pay his bills and will loose his beloved animals.

I thank you, in advance, for your kind and generous show of respect and love.
