My mom found a young 2-3 week old kitten outside of a friend's house. We tried looking for her mother, but she wasn't anywhere to be found. I've been nursing little Magnolia back to health for two weeks now, however last night we came home to find that she was having a seizure and lying in her fecal matter. We quickly rushed her to the nearest emergency vet, and were soon told that her blood sugar was at 46 mg/dL, and her temperature was so low it wouldn't register on the thermometer. She was taken in for the night, and there's a good possibility she will have to stay for another. My family wasn't expecting being charged $1400 for such a small kitten, and it's going to be very difficult to afford it, especially if Magnolia has to stay more nights. All proceeds will go towards the vet bill and anything extra will go towards future expenses. Every dollar helps.
