Like all parents, when our son Aidan was born in 2009 we were thankful to have a healthy and happy baby boy. From the age of ten months however it became apparent something was different about Aidan’s development. From age eighteen months Aidan’s doctor understood what we had in front of us and formulated a treatment plan that we immediately put into action. It wouldn't be until Aidan was four years old that our concerns were confirmed, Aidan indeed had autism. For the last three years Aidan has been receiving both speech and occupational therapy. It is through this therapy that our family was introduced to the many benefits of a therapy dog. Our passion for this life changing therapy has compelled us to reach out to our friends and family for donations. Our goal is to raise $50,000, which will change the lives of three children in Minnesota. It is our hope that with your help we can help expand this program to help other children just like Aidan.
