Paws for Jo Jo

Jo was born with a rare deadly form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. Seizures are usually not controlled, and other issues go along with this disorder. She is heat sensitive, developmentally delayed, prolonged seizures, multiple medications, and a VNS implant. We are currently waiting for her surgery date to get a feeding tube, since eating has been an issue.We are raising money for us to get to 4 Paws for ability October 2016 to get her service dog. The 2 week trip will cost around 8,000. We will stay in Xenia, Ohio for training and to pick up her dog. Any money extra raised will go towards dog expenses. Jo's life will change dramatically having her dog. She has spent a lot of time in the hospital. This year alone 9 days. Her seizures have been more frequent and long lasting requiring rescue medications.Please help us get there!
