<div>My name is Faiz Maraqa, and I own land in Al-Danageer, a rural area near Hebron, Palestine. While I am not a farmer myself, many of my neighbors and friends are—hardworking men and women who depend entirely on their land to feed their families.

<div>The road to Al-Danageer is just 1.8 km long and 5 meters wide, but it’s unpaved and in terrible condition. In winter, it turns into deep mud that swallows tires and makes walking dangerous. In summer, it’s rough, dusty, and still difficult to cross. Farmers struggle to reach their olive trees, vineyards, and vegetable fields. Sometimes crops are lost because help simply can’t get there in time.

<div>Palestine is going through one of its most difficult times. Many families here have already lost their sources of income. Yet, they continue to care for their land and hold on to it—not only as a means of survival but as a connection to identity, history, and hope.

<div>I am part of a local committee formed to arrange and raise funds to pave this road. The total cost of the project is about $135,000 USD. Local landowners and the municipality are contributing what they can, but we still need to raise more than half of the total amount.
