Paul's Fight

Donation protected
The most common command in the bible is “Do Not Fear!” God never said hardships and waves of trials and tribulations wouldn’t come into our lives; but he did say he would supply all of our needs if we just see it through. This is precisely what my husband Paul told me on November 7th, 2017.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, I will Fight with faith and see this through!”

On November 7th, 2017 my husband, Paul Williams at the age of 35 was diagnosed with advance pancreatic cancer. I watched my husband as the Doctor informed him that the tumor was too massive and deemed it inoperable at this time to remove, and to just live the rest of his life to the fullest. Then he handed him a prescription for his pain and asked if he had any questions. My husband remained calm and his demeanor was one of peace. He wasn’t angry, he didn’t shout, kick, or scream, he wasn’t emotional, he didn’t question God, and his faith didn’t waiver. He simply stated over again, “baby, we got this and we will see it through!” At that moment, when I should have been praying for my husband, he was actually asking God to give me strength and peace. This is the man that I am blessed to know and fall in love with each and every day.

On December 6th, 2017 Paul will begin to undergo Chemo. Our hopes and prayers are that the tumor will shrink and become operable.

Inside of him is a mass/tumor 40mm by 30mm (impossible to remove by the Doctor’s standards, but possible by God’s). But, bigger than this tumor is his FAITH in God to heal him. His WILLPOWER to fight. His DETERMINATION to change his lifestyle for the best. His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & DEVOTION to his family, friends, co-workers, job, and loved ones.   His MOTIVATION to be able to witness his 3 daughters walk across their high-school and college graduation stage. His DEDICATION to his wife in fulfilling all his commitments and to celebrate not just 1 year but many decades of marriage. His JOY through the pain, His PEACE of mind because he TRUST that God will work it out for his good. His HOPE in that he will be there to not only walk all 3 of his daughters down the aisle but to be first and last man to hold their hand and hearts before giving them away to their husbands. His THANKFUL HEART, even though he was assigned this mountain, he knows that God wants him to show the world that it can be moved. And his STRENGTH to see it all through!

This journey will not be easy and we are asking our family and friends for support to help us cover Paul’s medical treatments, prescriptions, travel (to and from specialist and oncologist), lifestyle diet, and any other needs while he is out for the next 3 months. We understand that not everyone can donate financially; we still would love your support through prayers, phone-calls, and text messages.  If you are a co-worker of Paul’s and would like to donate PTO, please contact HR.

Paul’s fight started on that day, and by faith, and support from his family, friends, and loved ones; it’s a battle that he plans to have the Victory in. We thank you in advance for your prayers and support!

With Love Always,
