YWAM Marine Reach Update - Paul Kerpel
Hi everyone. I am currently at YWAM Marine Reach in Tauranga, New Zealand.
I will be here for 5 months: after 3 months of DTS (Discipleship Training School) and healthcare training, for 2 months, as a YWAM team, we will be joining some medical professionals to provide health care support at a few clinics in Vanuatu (a group of small islands in the South Pacific) where there is limited access to medical care.
Having trained as an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) has been beneficial in equipping me to serve in this supportive role of health care outreach we will be doing together as a team. Along with providing care and support at a few clinics, our team will also be doing some basic health care teaching in a few schools, churches and in the community. We will also be visiting and serving at a high-risk security prison.
