Pauline Cook "Shirt off her back" Fundraiser

This fundraiser is in HONOR of Pauline Cook who passed away on Jan 4, 2023. Pauline Cook was an incredible human who was smart, generous, and kind. Every interaction throughout her life whether at work as a bank VP or a grandmother she met with kindness and love. She would give the proverbial "shirt off her back" if she thought it would make someone's life better. In her later years, while suffering from dementia she became a resident at Marquette Medical Care Center and develop a network of great caregivers and friends. This small, upbeat new facility is set in a quiet country setting in the city of Ishpeming found in the Upper Penisula of Michigan. Occasionally a resident at the center will lose their remaining supporting family and/or funding and are left with no financial resources. Rather than move these residents to another center, Marquette Medical helps to fund their care through donations from generous friends and family of other residents. Pauline was that person who would have given all of her resources to help these individuals, so in honor of her memory, I am starting a fund in her name to add to her private resources to be donated to Marquette Medical Care to assist the 3 current residents without funding. Any funding remaining will be donated to the Resident's fundraising fund for a new outdoor pavilion to be used for many fabulous outdoor events.

Per Pauline’s request, no public services will be held and in Lieu of Flowers, donations to her fundraising effort are much appreciated.
