Going to the O'Neill Theatre Center

Hello to my MICHA Community, my UWP Cast D 95, my Yuchi Tribe, my SCAD Community, my Santa Fe College co-workers, my PK Yonge families, my Acrosstown friends, fellow artists and, of course, my family family.



I am preparing for a new and challenging artistic adventure in Waterford, Connecticut.  The National Theatre Institute at the O’Neill Theatre Center has invited me to be a part of their semester long Advance Director Intensive.  The National Theatre Institute is a Tony Award Winning theatre-training institute that boasts an amazing list of alumni including Meryl Streep, Jennifer Garner, John Krasinski and Lin Manuel Miranda.  With the support of my parents I have been raising funds for the past 6 months.  My fundraising plan covers program admissions, travel and medical needs.  I am half way there but I still need $3,500 to secure my spot in the program and to make sure I make it to Connecticut safely and ready to do the best theatre work I can do.  I have until September 1st to reach the $3,500 goal and I need your help.  A donation of any amount will put me one step closer to the National Theatre Institute.  

 
Many of you know that I have been through my fair share of medical challenges and those medical challenges have taught me to live without regret. We have only one life to live and the big scar on my belly reminds me of that every morning.  The O’Neill Center is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The National Theatre Institute teaches it's students to “Risk. Fail. Risk Again”.  Please help me take the next big risk.
