Paul's fight to health

Thank you for viewing our Go Fund Me site. Paul and I feel as if we have been tossed into the middle of an ocean without a lifeboat. That gut-wrenching word 'cancer'.
So many people ask me, how did you know that Paul had lung cancer. He didn't have any symptoms? He had sprained his ankel and ended up with a sore back because of the boot he was in. The back ache didn't go away, and got worse. He went back into the orthapedic doctor. They took xrays and ct scans and a mri scan. These showed tumors on his spine and pelvis. This is what was causing the pain. This is first when we heard there could be cancer involved. Shortly after, we were in the oncologist office and learned that he has stage 4 lung cancer- small cell. Small cell only is about 10-20% of lung cancers. The cancer is aggressive and had already matasized to his spine and hip. This cancer also is sensative to chemo therapy. So we are in faith believing that he will be in remission soon. However, This diagnosis prevents Paul from working right now. He has a new job that he hasn't earned benefits yet. This money will be used to pay general living expenses like rent, utilities and medical bills. We have medical insurance through my job, but without him working this has caused a serious financial stress on us. We need the funds as soon as anyone can help. We are thankful for anything you can give.
Humbly,
Paul and Abbey
