Paula Butterfield was diagnosed with IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) in the Summer of 2016.
IBC accounts for only 1-5% of all breast cancers diagnosed in the United States. It is very aggressive & painful with a very low survival rate. Because of how advanced her IBC was when they found it, her Doctors advised her not to use chemo or radiation treatment as it would only accelerate the IBC. In fact, she shouldn't have made it this far by her statistics. But we serve a greater God who is not restrained by statistics. This is Paula's secret weapon...her faith in Jesus. She has fought this long & hard with Him constantly at her side. Paula is a loving wife, a selfless mother to her 11 children (9 boys & 2 girls), a daughter, a sister, a grandmother and a friend to everyone that has ever had the opportunity to meet her. She has gone above & beyond to selflessly serve her family & friends, every single day of her life. Anyone that knows Paula, knows that her heart is gold, her smile is contagious, and her faith is unwavering. We want to help Todd & Paula with the unfortunate financial side of the cancer battle. The funds will go to helping to pay for Doctor visits, pain meds, natural meds & also to help with taking the children out to have fun.
