This campaign is devoted to the dedicated wife and loving mother of four, Paula Clarke.
Paula was diagnosed with gastro-esophageal cancer in Novemeber of 2015. For a woman who never missed a beat, she suddenly experienced a lapse in health as an onset of symptoms catapulted her into a state of chronic deterioration, leaving her unable to eat or even tolerate drinking cold water.
The type of carcinoma to which she has succumb does not make up a large portion of cancer cases overall. The success of conventional therapies is limited in the field of gastric cancer, with surgery being the most promising form of treatment in North America. Unfortunately, after several rounds of chemotherapy leading up to her surgery date, our family was informed that the development of her cancer was widespread, rendering it inoperable. We were told additional radiation or chemotherapy would simply keep its growth at bay temporarily.
Despite the cloud of doom and gloom, the battle is far from over. We know that we are not alone in this war against cancer and we stand united in this fight. Paula needs support in seeking alternative cancer treatment internationally. Innovative oncolytic virotherapy, which uses a human virus to selectively invade and destroy cancer cells, is offered in the countries of Latvia, Germany, Georgia, Mexico, and the Bahamas. Please help us RAISE Paula above this obstacle! No one deserves cancer but everyone deserves a fighting chance!
