Paula's Fight for Life/Liver Transplant

For those of you who know Paula, you know what a beautiful person she is, inside and out. Paula has blessed so many of us with her presence, her smile, her sarcasm, her wit, friendship and love along with her gifts as a daughter, sister, friend, mother, wife, & family member.
Paula has had health issues for quite some time, however in the last couple of years she’s been dealing with even more, which has affected her liver, and made it unhealthy to the point of being at stage 4 liver failure. Unfortunately, Paula also found out recently that she has cancer in her liver and needs a transplant as soon as possible.
She has been accepted as a candidate for a liver transplant at Mayo, which is wonderful! But this also brings on another set of challenges. There will be medical expenses that need to be paid up front and out of pocket, including $10,000 for the transplant and surgery, pre, during & post hospital procedures, screenings, the hospital stay, after care expenses, anti-rejection meds for life, support for her daughter, plus living expenses, etc.
Paula’s family and friends are asking for your help to save Paula. We need her in our lives. Paula’s 16 year old daughter needs her Mom! Paula wants to see her baby grow up for as long as she can! So please, we are asking you to help us help Paula and donate as much as you can, even if it’s $5.00, $10.00, $100.00, every little bit helps! Once a match is found for Paula, the money needs to be available, so they can do the procedure right away. The transplant wait could take weeks or months. Without the transplant, Paula has about 6 months left, according to her doctors, so the need is urgent.
