On the 30th March 2020, I lost my daddy, my best friend and my strongest rock, when Paul Walsh unfortunately lost his fight to cancer.
Dad was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 lung cancer in Christmas 2019, and despite his inspiring battle he sadly passed away in his sleep.
I cared for my dad everyday since his diagnosis andtook over the care of my disabled mum who has the neurological condition, Multiple Sclerosis. The truly beautiful thing is that my dad has cared for my mum independently for over 20 years, out of pure devotion and true love.
Not only is the sadness of the loss of my dad devastating, but it is made worse by the recent restrictions on the Corona virus. With there being no end of stress, aggravation and sadness in the organisation of his funeral.
We find ourselves crushed over the current restrictions, which means that dad, the best and most inspiring man I know, will not have the grand send off that he deserves.
During this most distressing time, we now find ourselves desperately struggling to pay the deposit for dad’s funeral.
Although I hate to have to do this, I now have no other alternative then to ask each person reading this to look inside their hearts to see whether they may be able to contribute a donation towards this cause.
Paul touched the lives of every one he met. He was truly adored and respected by his family and friends and deserves so much more out of his send off, then he had during his fight with cancer.
Thank you for reading this, the sincerest thanks to those of you who donate.
