A number of people have asked specifically if they can help us financially. If you cannot, please don't feel obligated. We had good insurance, but we met our maximum out-of-pocket costs of $7,900, plus two ambulance rides not covered by insurance at around $900. Any funds raised will go to cover those costs, and if we raise more, it will go to memorial expenses, then college loans. If you cannot give financially, please consider telling our story to your elected state and national congressional representatives and advocating for health care for ALL that won't set a family back $10,000 or more for a medical tragedy.
