Paul March - Celebration Of Life Costs

Hi, My name is Nolan March, I created this fundraiser for my recently deceased uncle, Paul March.

Back Story…..
Paul March was walking near James Short Park in southwest Calgary on June 30, 2021 when he heard an altercation between a woman and man inside the park. After hearing the woman tell the man to stop hitting her, Paul March confronted the man. The man pulled out a knife and chased Paul, catching and stabbing him. Paul later died in the hospital on July 3rd 2021.

The circumstances leading to and surrounding these events and the subsequent death of Paul are under investigation by the police. An active murder investigation is ongoing.

Through all of this, none of Paul March's family or friends were contacted to help him when he was in need in the hospital. It wasn't until July 30th, almost a month after his passing, that a family member noticed a news broadcast of the event.

Paul March was a treasured member of a large family who loved him, many whom live in Calgary. Any of them would have come to Paul's assistance had they known he was in need.

All of Paul’s possessions were removed from his home before his family was aware of his passing, we are left with many questions about how things were dealt with through this tragedy, and hope to find some answers as the investigation proceeds.
