Coach Paul Lyons Scholarship Fund

Paul Lyons coached the Belmont High School boys basketball team from 1975-2000, winning a state title in 1993.   He also helped found BYBA with a group of Belmont parents to provide basketball opportunities for youths in Belmont.   He was still involved with the BYBA Rookies program in his later years.   

Coach Lyons' desire was to provide financial support to a senior boy and girl basketball each year to help with their college tuition.   This award is presented at Senior Awards night each June.
