<div>Paul Lyons coached the Belmont High School boys basketball team from 1975-2000, winning a state title in 1993.   He also helped found BYBA with a group of Belmont parents to provide basketball opportunities for youths in Belmont.   He was still involved with the BYBA Rookies program in his later years.    <br /><br />Coach Lyons' desire was to provide financial support to a senior boy and girl basketball each year to help with their college tuition.   This award is presented at Senior Awards night each June.  <br /><br />BYBA organization will help manage this fund.   More information about Belmont Youth Basketball Association Inc: The Belmont Youth Organization Association's Primary Exempt Purpose Is Providing The Youth Of Belmont The Opportunity To Learn And Play The Game Of Basketball.
