Our Story
(Beginning): At just 40 years old, Paul Lyons Jr. is a hardworking, loving husband and an amazing father to three beautiful girls. Originally, Paul had an onset of different symptoms and after he began to feel worse while at work, his supervisor decided to take him to the hospital. The cat-scan revealed a tumor in his brain. He had surgery immediately which removed 98% of the tumor but was advised that the tumor was cancerous immediately following the procedure. This past Monday the family was told that he has stage four brain cancer which has to be treated aggressively as his type is rare.
(Middle): He will start chemotherapy and radiation tomorrow, May 24th and will be going 5 days a week for 6 weeks. At that point they will do another MRI to determine if the treatments are working and how to proceed.
(Forward): God has decided to bring Paul Lyons home to be with him. Let us celebrate the life of Paul Lyons and all of those whom he touched while he was here on this earth. May God bless him and his family with comfort, as they mourn the loss of their husband, father, family and friend Paul Lyons. He will be deeply, deeply missed.
WHY GOFUND ME?
Financial assistance is necessary because he must remain out of work as he has been for a month so far and his wife is now the sole provider for their family. While Mrs. Lyons is a strong, God fearing woman, it is still a difficult time. She works while still caring for her husband, being at treatments and providing a loving, supportive home for their beautiful girls. I am asking for donations to make an anticipated financial burden during Paul’s battle be the least of his worries. Your donation will help cover the cost of gas, food and various necessities that can make a difference for this wonderful family.
