As the holiday season approaches, the hustle and bustle begins. Families are planning getaways and the gift shopping is in full swing. A dear friend of ours is in need of prayer, love and support. What was to be a happy time in their lives has taken a drastic turn. I know God doesn’t give you more than you can handle, and the mysterious works are truly mysterious.
On Nov 02, 2017 Marie was at work, when an elderly lady drove her car into the building on accident. Unfortunately Marie’s desk sits in the exact spot where the car came through the wall. At 7 months pregnant, Marie was thrown from her seat. Under the rumble she tried to understand what had just happened. “It all happened so fast”, Marie recalls the only she could hear where the frantic cries from her concerned peers. They were there on the floor with her in an instant, checking her and baby Arabella’s vitals. Luckily there were no major issues, but Marie is still out of work dealing with injuries.
Flash forward another week, Paul gets the news that he too might have a battle on his hands. Paul has been suffering with syptoms of fatigue and dizziness. Tests results are still pending, however there is a fear that cancer maybe the cause. The works of God are mysterious, maybe the accident was a way to get Paul to recognize something is wrong and he needed to seek treatment.
They are both out of work now, and medical expenses climbing, with a baby on the way, and the holiday’s approaching, the stress and fear of “what are we going to do now” starts to take hold.
If there is one thing I know about these two, it is that their faith in God, friends and family is so strong they remain positive it’ll all be ok.
Holiday is a time to give, so please I pray and hope and I ask that you help support this family, our family through God. Anything helps, everything is appreciated.
