With all of your incredible generosity and support, we have now reached our estimated target to deal with the matters at hand as they unfold in the next few weeks.
At this time, we are still awaiting some finalisation from authorities to proceed with Paul’s funeral and memorial service. We hope to have this arranged very soon and will advise you all by the various websites and social media available.
Once again on behalf of my family and my late brother, thank you all so very, very, much for your support and to Miranda Musical Society for their administration of this appeal.
I am sure my brother, your dear friend Paul would say….
“ The greatest gift of life is friendship……and I have received it.”

This week we lost our dear friend and colleague Paul Holmes, in his sudden departure from our lives. His death has left us in a state of vacuum for the present and for most a struggle to accept that this talented, kind and tortured soul will no longer be there when we look for him.
Paul for all his outward positive manner fought many demons in his personal life which were unknown to most people. Unfortunatly, this has left a financial burden for his sister and niece and close friends.
As we all shared in the talents, camaraderie and warm nature of this man, and as we now share in the grief and sadness of his death, we ask you to share in the expense of meeting his funeral arrangements and the legal costs in the settlement of his affairs.
If you are able to assist Jeanette- his sister and Tanya his niece- in the expenses of giving Paul a dignified and honourable farewell to our wonderful friend and colleague, we humbly appreciate any financial assistance you may be able to give.
Miranda Musical Society will oversee the expenses and any money collected will go towards:
- Funeral Costs and Memorial Service
- Legal Costs on his Probate.
- Removal of his effects and make good on his unit.
As the music softly dies and the curtain is falling, help us to give Paul the final encore he deserves.
