Being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and being told I may have a little more than a year to live, last March, was the hardest news I’ve heard in my life. While my days are numbered, I’m grateful for each day that I have.
The cancer has been debilitating, and I have not been able to work for the last two years. Additionally, I have not been able to do my missionary work, with local homeless outreach groups or any of my short term missions abroad to Thailand or Myanmar, with their orphanages. The combination of not working and thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills has depleted our savings. Now, we are at danger of losing our house due to not having the income or savings to pay the mortgage.
My biggest fear is not of dying, but of leaving my wife and children without a home when I’m gone to be with my God. Please help our family come out of default and catch up on the mortgage or pay it off entirely. The default amount is approaching $80,000.00. To save our Family home, we are seeking monetary support of $260,000. My wife has been working as much as possible, but her income does not make it possible for a refinance, which is needed.
