Socialized medicine has not reached diagnosis after months of many test and several hospital visits. Paul has ‘episodes’ that last up to 45 minutes, where he has to lay down and stay completely still with distressing physical pain and dizziness. It has been 6 months and is on a waiting list for an MRI, which will not happen before next year unless funds become available to seek private medical support, which is considerably more expensive. In the meantime, he has no answers yet as to why the episodes started 6 months ago and now they are getting worse and longer. His current medical tes

Paul, Valerie and their three beautiful girls, have been a legendary part of our story with youth, going back to 1993 to present, when serving at Village Seven Presbyterian Church Student Ministries in Colorado Springs. Paul and Valerie have hosted over 15 teams in Ireland and several interns from our church in the US and from Brussels through Outpost Expeditions. Hundreds of students from our teams over the years have participated in cross cultural sports and mission outreach in Southern and Norther
n Ireland through Paul as our main contact. Paul is one of the leading Youth Experts in Northern Ireland and around the globe. He has been a guest speaker for our ski camps in the US and multiple events in other parts of the US. He has traveled globally; speaking in schools; youth groups; and teaches future youth workers of Ireland and Europe. His Global impact is massive and his ministry reaches from Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, Middle East and beyond.
Those of you whose lives were impacted by Paul and Val’s outreach, and those who have means to contribute to this cause, please consider rallying with us to invest in his healing journey, where he can find out where the source of his episodes come from, how to treat it for the road to recovery. As time goes on the episodes are more frequent and longer. It takes a dire toll on his body in the recovery stage after the episodes. We hope to raise enough funding for him to support their financial needs and to help fund the high expense of going through the Private Medical Services. His first episode happened last spring while at a conference in Prague, where he passed out on the Charles Bridge, and found himself in a military hospital. After time he was able to transfer to a hospital in Northern Ireland for continual testing. Your gifts are a great encouragement to the Bowman family. All donations will go to supplement their living expenses while he seeks medical attention, and will speed up the process of finding a diagnosis to his failing health.
