We lost more than a mother.  Mom was not only a mother, father and friend to the three of us kids, but also a grandmother, friend, confidant and bright shining light to so many people throughout her life.  Mom opened her heart and her home to a lot of people over the years regardless of their lot in life and without passing judgement.  It was not unusual for her to put the needs of others before her own; emotional, physical and financial.  Unfortunately, that was to a fault and eventually led us to where we are today.  Mom's failure (and stubborness) to take care of herself led to a host of health issues that proved too much to overcome.  She also managed to hide the fact that she was had very few assets to cover her final expenses despite the fact that she kept a nice home and spoiled her grandchildren.  We only really discovered this as we were forced to manage her finances while she was in the hospital.

We love Mom and we know many other people did too.  We want to honor her life and memory in a manner that is fitting of the generous and caring woman that she was.  It is our intent to memorialize her here in Pennsylvania where she has lived for the better part of the last 25 years as well as in Western New York where she spent the first 40 years of her life and where many of her friends and extended family still reside.  Unfortunately , we do not have the funds to do this right.  Mom always taught us kids not to beg, so she would probably not approve of this.  But she is worth it to me and deserves the best and if I'm being honest, it isn't the first time that I have disobeyed her, lol.

Any gift or donation will be greatly appreciated.  Any funds not spent on her funeral and memorial expenses will be sent to one of the many charities that Mom supported through the years.

The Pennsylvania Memorial Service will be next weekend January 5-6. Details to follow.

The New York Memorial Service is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of May 18-19.  Details to follow.

Thank you and We love you all.  - Scott, Traci and Jason.
Such a beautiful young woman.

There's was a love that was meant to last forever.  A true and deep romance.  It ended way to soon.  Mom waited almost 40 years to be reunited with the man of her dreams.  And she is finally back in his arms where she truly belongs.
Tell me these two weren't meant for each other?  I mean what a sharp looking pair!!!
Christmas 1977.  Our first and only Christmas together.
