Patty Connor Medical Expenses

My name is Patty Connor, I’m 43 years old and live in St. Paul, MN with my dog Chachi.  On 9/24/18 I walked into the ER at Regions Hospital because I was not feeling well and I was visibly jaundice.  I was quickly admitted, and within 48 hours was in complete kidney and liver failure.  My condition continued to worsen at Regions and as a result I was airlifted to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on 9/28.  I have remained in the ICU since arriving  here at the Mayo and my medical team has since determined that I will require a complete liver transplant

As of 10/11 I have been activated on the transplant list for our region, as well as the region covering Illinois.  So, along with my family and all my dear friends, we’re hoping and praying that a liver becomes available very soon!!

As you can imagine the medical costs for my hospitalization, the transplant surgery, and continued care and costs required after being discharged will be significant!  Although I am currently being covered under short term disability, it is only covering 60% of my full income, and the medical bills are already starting to trickle in.
