Patti Stern Recovery fund

Patti Stern has been married to her creative partner in business and life for more than 30 years. They are both award winning artists at juried art shows throughout the country. She is quick- witted and engaging while he is quietly demure. Together they make the perfect team running "The Perfect View", where they create art from antique artifacts. They are a great team, with Patti's role being the major sales component.

This past year has been a difficult challenge for Patti's health and has had a huge impact on their personal lives and their business. While shopping in a grocery store in December of 2016, a case of red bull toppled off a six-foot stack; hitting her on the head and knocking her to the ground. The migraines caused by the resultant concussion were to be treated with surgery in August 2017.

Unfortunately, the migraine surgery had to take a back seat when Patti was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and needed an immediate complete hysterectomy. The cell type is aggressive and fast growing. She will need 6 rounds of chemo taking 5 months and will be unable to work for a long time. The impact that this has had upon their lives and artwork has and will be cataclysmic, Patti has been unable to create art since her concussion, and is too weak and immune compromised to attend the shows. She is unable to do what she does best... sell their artwork. Without sales, bills do not get paid.
