My brother Patrick and his family could really use prayers and support.

Patrick his wife Lynsey and their 7yr old son Blaine moved to Fort Worth Texas at the end of June. A week there and just 8 days into his new job he had a nasty fall at home and broke 4 ribs and lacerated his spleen. A couple days later he started vomiting uncontrollably and they weren’t able to get him to stop so he went to the hospital. It has been a roller coaster battle since then. He’s been released only to start throwing up again and back in the hospital again. He has been to 3 different hospitals and is currently on admission #5 and at UT South Western Clements University Hospital. During his current hospital stay they have discovered a laceration on his ankle that he also suffered when he fell and it has now become infected all the way to the bone (not in the bone yet). They have put him on strong antibiotics and are doing surgery today to remove some of the infection. He has a long road to recovery. Even when he finally gets released from the hospital he will not be able to go back to work right away as his ankle wound will need to be completely healed.

Patrick is the sole breadwinner for his family and this loss of income has truly been difficult for them. He also doesn’t have health insurance as this all happened right when they moved there and his benefits haven’t come into affect yet. The hospital bills are already over 20k and they are starting to fall behind on their utilities, cell phone and other bills. Lynsey is reaching out to social services to see what kind of government assistance they can apply for. Meanwhile any donation given will be greatly appreciated!
