Patrick VanTyle Medical Fund

Patrick joined Smith System August 2016 as a Boston based instructor. 

In June Patrick was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. Patrick has started oral chemotherapy & radiation treatment before he has another review leading to surgery. After surgery, he will have traditional chemotherapy treatments. Patrick has a great attitude, the strong, loving support of his wife Mary and is expecting a full recovery.  Patrick has asked for our positive thoughts and prayers but we thought maybe we could do more.  Fortunately, Patrick has health insurance but he does not have a supplemental income policy. A lack of income and mounting out-of-pocket medical expenses is making his estimated 6 months off from work a real financial burden. Knowing this need and knowing the kindness and generosity of others, we thought it important to bring this need to everyone's attention.   Whether it is a financial contribution, healing thoughts or prayers – all is appreciated.
