Patrick Sharkey Medical Bills

Early morning on 2/19/18, around 3am, Patrick was attacked outside of his home. Money, and jewelry were taken, but not his credit cards. He was beaten and left outside his home for several hours before he was found. He was taken to Hahannamen hospital where he is now. He was put into a medical induced coma which he is still in. He suffered head trauma and the doctors had to reduce the pressure in his head. He has since been taken off of blood pressure medication which is a good sign. They are saying that he has aspirated pneumonia. He is still in a coma but is reacting to pain, and is aware of the people around him. Hopefully he will come out soon. He will have a long way to go. The doctors really don’t know what long term care he’ll need until he wakes up. Sadly his parents have passed away a few years ago, and it is just his two brothers,his sister in law, and his loving girlfriend who are left to help him recover. It’s such a tragedy that has happened. Patrick was such a good person who would give you the shirt off his back, and help you in anyway he could. He loves his family and his job. He was always smiling and willing to help with whatever needed to be done. He is now in need of our help and support. Let us show him and his family how much we love and support him. We can help him with his bills so that he can focus on his long road to recovery, and not have to worry about that. If anyone who works in the Postal service and has sick leave that they will be willing to donate, you can do that as well. I’m not sure how to do that but will find out soon and post it. We are trying to get an event planned for Pat as well and will keep you posted. Please find it in your hearts to help Patrick and his family in this tragic time. We all know how much Pat loves his family, friends and his job, so Let’s show him how much! Remember it can happen to anyone.
