Patrick Gray Recovery Fund

On June 1st, 2017, Patrick Gray, a lifelong Jersey City resident and a Hudson County employee, was critically injured in a tragic accident, and his life was forever changed.
While at a car wash in Jersey City, Patrick was pinned between two cars, and both of his legs were crushed. He was rushed to the Jersey City Medical Center Trauma Unit in critical condition. Thanks to the heroic actions of the Jersey City EMTs and JCMC emergency room staff, they were able to save Patrick’s life. Despite the surgeons’ best efforts, both of Patrick’s legs eventually had to be amputated.
Patrick now faces a long road of medical rehabilitation to restore the quality of life that he had prior to the accident. Throughout this sudden and life changing event, Patrick has kept a positive outlook and has displayed amazing courage, being an inspiration to his family and friends.
