Patrick Brooks Medical Expenses

On Friday, December 9th, the Brooks family received the devastating and heartbreaking news that their 3-year-old son, Patzy, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). On Tuesday, only 3 days earlier,  he was playing with his friends at daycare and on Wednesday he was admitted to Albany Medical Center for a very long stay. Patzy had his first chemo treatment last night, December 14th.  The doctors have said that his situation is “unique”.  He will be receiving 3 types of chemo over the course of 10 days.  This is followed by a minimum month-long stay at the hospital.  This is just the first course of treatment with many more to follow. Not only does this family have to get through these trying days, they also have the burden of medical bills. Any amount you could donate is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small.
