Patricia Duckett was Swindled and Lost Her Home

Recently, my mom was swindled by a man who represented himself as an attorney that could aid her in modifying a loan for her home.  What she did not know was that the "attorney" was under investigation by the office of Maryland Attorney General for illegally taking upfront fees for mortgage relief services from vulnerable senior citizens and had been disbarred. This man misguided my mom, took over $7,000 from her, and caused her to lose her home of nearly 20 years.
