Payment for Chemotherapy Treatments

My name is Patricia D’Sylva. I was diagnosed with Stage-4 Ovarian Cancer in October of 2009. I was given a short time to live. I have fought hard and this October will complete 5 years.
I was given a prescription for a Chemotherapy drug that is not covered by OHIP (the Canadian Government) so I have to travel to the United States to get the I.V. treatment there because it is a lot cheaper. I have been doing this for the last 16 months. The treatment is helping bring my cancer marker down. It is the lowest and best it has been in 5 years. The last CT scan shows decrease in measurement.
I am on Canada Pension Disability and do not have the funds to pay for these treatments. I have on a monthly basis paid what I could and the hospital has been nice enough to continue treatment for the past 16 months. They now have informed me that unless my bill is cleared, treatment cannot continue. Being that these treatments are helping me, I don't want to stop.
I have a supporting letter from my doctor which is included as an attached photo.
I am being treated by Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. I have an unpaid balance that needs to be cleared no later than the end of November 2014 in order for my treatments to continue. I am praying and hoping to receive at least enough to clear my unpaid balance. It is my wish to clear this amount and fundraise enough to carry my treatments through until the end of this year.
If you so desire, contributions can be paid directly to the hospital. I will supply all the necessary details.
