Trish Jones, or Tricia as her close friends and family call her, is beginning the fight of her life.
Trish felt some pain and thought it odd but was not prepared for the news, “You have a spot that is suspicious.” Whenever you hear this news, anyone’s mind races toward the worst. For Trish, these fears were confirmed. She has breast cancer. Over several painful tests and doctor’s visits, she learned that it is even worse than originally thought. Emotions flood: sadness…fear…anger. And in Trish’s true style, now she’s ready to FIGHT!
Trish is beginning chemotherapy next week just days before her granddaughter enjoys her FIRST Christmas. This new grandmother is not prepared to leave a precious baby girl or the other sweet baby on the way. She is going to take the cancer monster head on. This fight is going to be hard physically, but equally as hard, it is going to be EXPENSIVE.
