Pat Tranchant Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Being a friend of the family for as long as I can remember, I know for certain that the Tranchants are good people.  Unfortunately, Pat Tranchant has moved on to a better place.  During this timeframe of tragedy, I believe there is an opportunity to help the Tranchant family.

Pat Tranchant was a loving husband and father.  He is survived by his wife Cindy Tranchant, daughter Lacy Tranchant-Young, son Chad Tranchant and four grandchildren.  Pat enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing euchre, telling jokes and staying up late (making it impossible for us to sneak out of the house).  Ones that knew him best were always waiting for his perfectly timed punch lines.

Here are a few testimonials about Pat Tranchant:

Lauren Marcel:
We love you, even if we didn’t say it enough.   Times like this make us want to turn back the clock to have just one more day with you.

Thank you, Pat, for raising the man of my dreams and the father of my child.   Watch over us, we’ll see you again one day. You will never be forgotten.

Chad Tranchant:
Thanks everyone for the kind words and prayers, my family and I really appreciate everything that everyone has done/doing for us . I haven’t really had a chance to call people back or text because of everything that is going on. My family and I didn’t really know how to handle something like this because it was so unexpected...... my father passed away on Friday, feb 9th at his home in Danville. For those of you that did have the pleasure of knowing my father, he was a very fun outgoing hilarious kind of guy that loved everyone. He was a free sprit with the biggest heart anyone could probably have. He was the kind of guy that would give his shirt off his back to anyone that needed it and if you had the pleaser of hanging around him long enough your face would hurt from laughing so much . He did just about everything and did it with as many friends and family as he could, including me. I was his (little buddy) that’s what he used to call me...and he took me with him everywhere, taught me everything and molded me into the man that I am today. I’m absolutely devastated that he’s gone, but I know that he is in a better place not dealing with all the pain that he was battling these past couple months. My family and I have made all the arrangements today and we will be having his visitation on Friday the 16th at the Robinson funeral home in Catlin from 4-7 and his burial will be Saturday the 17th at the Catlin cemetery @ 10am. Thanks again for all the kind messages and prayers. Lauren and I cannot express in words how thankful we are to have such caring friends and family.
