Pat needs help for his good boy Merle

Not the evening anyone should have to see or go through, my lil nugget Merle started having cluster grand mal seizures about 7:30 this evening and had 5 large ones before I could get him stable enough to get him in the truck to transport him and 2 more on the ride here. They have him stable and on fluids and meds and are keeping him for possibly 24 hours. I try not to ask for much but I could use all the good vibes, prayers, or whatever you can do to put some good into the universe for this sweet sweet boy who’s 2nd birthday is in 6 days

UPDATE:

Merel was kept over night and the vet sent a message around midnight and said he was responding well to the anti seizure meds and things were look on the upside, but he had another very large seizure around 2 am and he had not really recovered from it well so they were going to get him to a neurologist asap this morning but the vet called and said he has somewhat stabilized over the last few hours and has been sleeping the last hour so I had the option of keeping him there for observation, probably till tomorrow or they could transport him to Fort Collins to the CSU veterinary lab where they could have a specialist give me the best recommendation and do MRIs and what not. But they can’t do an MRI today because it’s booked out for a few days.

UPDATE:

Pat spoke to the vet and was given a quote for Merle to been seen by his neurologist and get the mri and it is $10,000 on top of the $6500 so far.
