Pat Dooley Heart Transplant

As many of you have heard the news my father, Pat Dooley, has been hospitalized in the Coronary Intensive Care Unit at Toronto General Hospital. At Pat's previous requests he did not want anyone to know the seriousness of his health. His heart is in failure, losing important heart muscle daily. The doctors cannot pinpoint the actual viral infection/disease. Now he is on the highest stage of the heart transplant waiting list.

Currently Pat's family is taking turns visiting daily.  His autistic son Riley needs an immediate family member with him.

It will be a long, slow road to recovery with hospital visits to Toronto from Oro-Medonte starting at three times a week for tests, biospies, checkups and consultations.

If you could help out financially, it would be greatly appreciated to help lessen the costs of travel, lost wages, and copayments for drugs and medical equipment.
