Pastor Earl Gutberlet

We are so pleased that pastor Earl shows signs of recovery from his Blemycoin Toxcity and is responding well to the doctor's advice. He is no longer required to be on oxygen and we will know more about the extent of permanent lung damage in the next few weeks. Medical billing can be a slow process and final determination of financial responsibility may be weeks or months away. Although we do not yet have all the information, we believe that Earl's insurance payouts may be close to their maximum limits and that he may be responsible for most (or all) future medical costs in relation to this situation. That means that all continued cancer treatments (such as radiation treatment, further chemotherapy, or any rehabilitation in relation to lung damage) may all fall under the "out of pocket" category. I'm sure that you can imagine the burden this uncertainty creates. I have therefore increased the financial goal of this campaign. The need seems to be greater than we originally anticipated. I would ask that you consider supporting Earl on a continuing basis (a small but faithful gift every month would greatly appreciated) and we ask that you share this need among all your friends.
