Pastor Caleb Criggers Fathers Day Golf Cart

Anyone who knows Pastor Caleb Crigger knows that he loves people. He has spent his entire life in service to the Father and to hurting people everywhere.  Even when he was in high school and Bible college, his heart was to travel to the mission field and preach the gospel to those who were lost.

Living in the Philippine Islands from 1972 to 1974, and then in Honduras, Central America, from 1984 to 1997, he has ministered and preached to countless people, young and old alike, and seen them come to Christ.

Pastor Caleb Crigger has turned an amazing 80 years old this year and is still going strong. He is an active part of the ministering staff working with the Senior Pastor, Aaron Smith, at The Gates of Zion, a local church body here in the township of Theodore, Alabama.

His birth name is Donald Crigger, but he changed it to Caleb when he turned 70 years old to honor the conquering Spirit of Caleb from the book of Joshua in the Bible. The biblical Caleb was also a much older man when Israel finally entered the land of promise. But even at that age, Caleb declared there were still mountains that were part of his  inheritance in this new land that he himself would enter and occupy.
In honoring this memorable 80th birthday and his dedicated life of service, we are raising $5,000.00 to purchase him an electric golf cart that he can use to get around on the property around their house, to do yard work, and to even drive to the services on the church property when the weather permits. We had initially planned to give him the cart on May 24th. However, due to the social restrictions caused by the virus pandemic, we will wait and present him with the golf cart on Fathers' Day on June 21st.
Pastor Caleb has touched many, many lives, and I know that many would like the opportunity to sow back into the life of someone who, to this day and at his age, still ministers, and still visits and prays for those in the hospital. He is constantly on the phone talking and praying with people from all over whom he spiritually mentors and fathers as they now grow in their own ministries.
As his son, I have seen him go through many good times and many not so good times. In each of these moments, specifically the "not so good" days, he has never wavered. He rejoiced because he knew that Yahweh God was in control and that He would see him through. And He did...every time. His favorite song to this day is "Great is Thy Faithfulness."  Pastor Caleb is a true witness of the never ending faithfulness of the Father.
I would be honored beyond words if you would join with us in celebrating not only my father, Pastor Caleb Crigger, but a lifetime servant of Yahweh Most High, a man after His own heart.
Thank you so very much.
