Pastor Billy Ledford Fights Brain Cancer

To our loving friends and neighbors,
Our loving Pastor Billy Ledford had a tumor removed from his brain in late July. In August he got life changing news and was diagnosed with Glioblastoma grade 4 brain cancer. He is currently going through aggressive radiation and chemo-therapy treatments. He is having to travel to Asheville every day for treatments. These treatments are going to last 6-8 weeks. The doctors are not giving him any prognosis at this time, the lord is one who ultimately decides that anyways. The doctors have informed Billy this type of cancer is very hard to treat and it is very aggressive. Billy, his family, church family, and friends are holding on to every ounce of faith they have in God for Billy to be healed. If you ask anyone who knows Billy they will tell you he is the most giving, caring, and thoughtful person they know. Most importantly he loves the Lord before all things and is very strong in his faith. He is a very dedicated husband, father, pastor, and friend. He is always quick to lend a helping hand and is always the person we all can count on. We all know, times like this can be very financially stressful. On behalf of Rev. Billy Ledford, Christ Baptist Church is asking for your help as Billy goes through this difficult time and fights this battle.
