Past Tense Build-Out and Move

While we have loved our quirky space, its unique shape and lack of ventilation from windows that were sealed shut decades ago, make it impossible to safely gather as a community. Happily, we have found a new, larger space just a half-block away. In January, we will be moving to the garage space behind Ellē. Formerly storage and office space for Old School Hardware, the new Past Tense features exposed brick walls, large windows that open, and an immense amount of possibility. We also expect it to be just a little bit quieter than our current location.

The new space necessitates a full build-out. I have applied for several grants and we are working to raise the funds in a variety of ways. We are very grateful for your support and appreciate any donation you are able to make. Thank you!
