Passing of Jaime Jimenez

I’m writing this today with great grief and sadness that my father Jaime Jimenez has left in our hearts. On the morning of November 12, our beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather passed away from cardiac arrest due to COVID-19, he was is the hospital since November 1st, and was fighting to wellness, but unfortunately experienced respiratory distress which caused cardiac arrest. We are so hurt and full of unexplainable pain from his sudden passing. Even though his passing hurts us we know he left a great imprint in peoples hearts.

You may have known my father through work, acquaintances and those who were lucky through childhood. If you knew him, then you would have known what a great person he was with a heart of gold. Our father was the most loving, most caring, most genuine, most humble man ever. The kind of man that would never hesitate to help anyone and always held his family down. His family was always a priority.

Our father was here in the US for most of his life with 6 kids, and two grandchildren. He worked so hard to have the life he did. We hope to continue his legend and business going.

I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover some of the costs. This happened so unexpectedly that our family was not prepared, and during these this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help.

Hoy les escribo con mucho dolor y tristeza que mi padre Jaime Jiménez ha dejado en nuestros corazones. En la mañana del 12 de noviembre, nuestro amado padre, hermano, tío y abuelo falleció de paro-cardiaco de COVID-19, estaba en el hospital desde el primero de Noviembre, el estaba luchando por su salud y bien estar, desafortunadamente, paso por dificultad respiratoria y paso por  paro-cardiaco. Estamos tan heridos y llenos de un dolor inexplicable por su repentino fallecimiento. A pesar de que su muerte nos duele, sabemos que dejó una gran huella en los corazones de las personas.

Es posible que haya conocido a mi padre a través del trabajo, conocidos y aquellos que tuvieron suerte durante la infancia. Si lo hubieras conocido, habrías sabido que era una gran persona con un corazón de oro. Nuestro padre fue el hombre más cariñoso, genuino y humilde. El tipo de hombre que nunca dudaría en ayudar a nadie y que siempre cuido por su familia. Su familia siempre fue una prioridad.

Nuestro padre estuvo aquí en los Estados Unidos la mayor parte de su vida con 6 hijos y dos nietos. Trabajó tan duro para tener la vida que tenía. Esperamos continuar con su leyenda y su negocio.

He comenzado una recaudación de fondos para funerales para ayudar a cubrir algunos de los costos. Esto sucedió de manera tan inesperada que nuestra familia no estaba preparada, y durante estos momentos difíciles estamos pidiendo ayuda.
