<div>Labor costs, though, have been a game changer most recently due to increased wages for the employees. At $20/hr plus federal, local wage taxes, and Workman's Comp, the cost is closer to $24/hr. This is the wage ceiling for us. We are now limited to four seasonal employees. Any more is not affordable.

But these are not ordinary times since governmental funding has been shut down. <strong>We are asking you, the consumer, to support local farms so your food security remains strong.</strong> We are leasing to buy the Ant in 2026.

<div>I have been researching the past year and a half various robots and believe the Ant best fits our needs. Ant was demonstrated recently this past week. I feel more confident than ever with Barn Owl Precision Agriculture for the CEO/Founder, Sarah, has deep roots with the ANT program and they are Local. (La Junta &amp; Florence Colorado)    We farm forty acres, all of which are certified organic here in Brighton.
