We're going to Malaysia International Taekwondo Championship

Hi, I'm Steffi.

Two of my children, Luis and Kira, and I - along with a squad from the Connacht Taekwon-Do Club will represent Galway and Ireland from 15th - 18th September 2025 in Melaka, Malaysia - in the Malaysia ITF International Taekwon-Do Championship.

We have travelled all over Ireland for competitions and been to Belgium and England as well, but but being invited to Malaysia is the sprinkle on our ice-cream.

This is a prestigious event and provides an invaluable opportunity for us and our squad to compete at a high level and experience the comradery of representing our club on an international stage - and learn lots about travelling long distance and experiencing a new country.

We are now fundraising to cover the travel, accommodation and logistic expenses to ensure we are fully prepared for the time in Malaysia.

We appreciate all donations big and small and remember to please share with your friends and family.

Our family has trained together since 2017 and we really enjoy Taekwon-Do.
