Gary’s nationally recognized exercise program has made a huge difference in the lives of thousands with Parkinson’s, neurological issues and other movement disorders.
Our Goal is to expand this amazing exercise program to 10 additional States in 2017!
In 1976, Gary Sobol became a running man. Since that date, he has run thousands of miles, completed 10 marathons and numerous ULTRA marathons.
While battling his second round of colon cancer he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The medical advice Gary received was to “not crack a sweat”. Following this advice Gary’s health declined to where he was virtually helpless. Refusing to be defeated he returned to his old friend “exercise”.
Working with a Neuroscientist and many other experts Gary developed a science based exercise program to combat 8 symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. This exercise routine became the GZ Sobol Parkinson’s Network Foundations Exercise class. The GZ Sobol Parkinson’s Network now has exercise classes in fourteen states with over 1,800 participants. This exercise program supports those with Parkinson’s, MS, stroke, TBI and aging well. www.parkinsonsnetwork.org
Your donation to our campaign to raise $35,000 will allow the GZ Sobol Parkinson’s Network to bring this exercise program to an additional 10 states in 2017. You can make a difference to thousands of those with neurological deficits and movement disorders.
Just $5.00 from you can help Gary to bring his program to yet another state.
The Parkinson’s Network appreciates and needs your support . Gary’s crowd funding is open through April 30, 2017. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
