Mysterious Noise Fights Parkinson’s
As a published author http://www.DianneBlomberg.com I watch my work benefiting children and adults. Sam and Gram and the First Day of School (Magination Press), written for grandson Sam, continues to help little ones master the challenge of starting school. This is joyful. Seeing my work in major newspapers and magazines is a treat. But I want more. I want something higher.
I seek funding for the publication and marketing of a new book, Max and the Mysterious Noise. 20% of the financing raised here, along with 20% of profits for the first two years of sales will be donated to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
Why?
Because Max said so.
Max and the Mysterious Noise, was written for my second grandson. I wanted to donate 20% of my proceeds to charity. I asked for a suggestion. His answer was swift, “Parkinson’s. It might help Papa.”
My first husband, Papa, father of my two daughters and grandfather of Sam and Max, (above w/Max on the left) was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Your participation in this GoFundMe campaign helps Team Fox, of which I’m a member and the dedicated professionals who will find advancements in research. We help raise funds to fight Parkinson’s. We’re darn sure to find a cure in someone’s lifetime. Your contribution helps!

Max and the Mysterious Noise, a picture book for ages 3 to 7, features a boy who can solve the town’s problem of a frightening mysterious noise, but no one will listen to him.

The back matter helps guide parents, educators, and caregivers through discussions of self-worth, speaking up for yourself, and improving the world at any age.

The proceeds from this GoFundMe campaign will be spent for the illustration and publication of the book though LuLu Press, and for the marketing of the book for the first two years.
20% of all monies raised through this campaign and from the first two years of sales will be donated to the Michael J Fox Foundation through this Team Fox endeavor. Our funding completion goal is December 15, 2018.
