Parker’s Attorney Fee

Most of you reading this know that working with children has become an accidental career of mine. As it has worked out, I’ve worked with kids steadily since my first job as a lifeguard at 16. 
This all has the potential to change however as an allegation of neglect has been brought against me through DHS, due to an incident at the child care non-profit I work at. In October, an older elementary aged child chose to sneak out of our program. Despite having a more than adequate child/instructor ratio, they made it away and home without incident, due to our quick actions assuring his safety and location after making a bad choice. 
There is no excuse for the willing neglect of a child, but this is not that. As such, an appeals process has begun to avoid my placement on the restricted registry; an action that would take my livelihood, the path I have seen my life going, and the future I had understood of someday adopting a child myself.  I truly appreciate any financial help I can receive for my attorney’s retainer to fight this false allegation.
