Parker beats Cancer!

Hi this is Deanna, Jennifer’s sister and sweet Parker’s Auntie D. Thank you to EVERYONE for the outpouring of support for Parker, Jenn, Jon, and the entire family. Parker does have a tumor in her abdomen about the size of a grapefruit. She has several teams working on her treatment plan at UNC Chapel Hill to safely get it out and gives us solid answers as to what it is. We are Praying that this is an ovarian tumor and it is all contained, so once removed she is back to her usual health and we are done. There is a possibility of further treatments based on how the surgery goes. We will continue to update her Facebook group to keep everyone who is praying for her updated. So far, Parker has been in 3 hospitals, had 2 (long) ambulance rides, multiple diagnostic imaging tests, and ultimately will have a large abdominal surgery. We anticipate she will be in the hospital at least 8 days if everything goes well. She is about 3 hrs away from home currently. I have created this page because SO many people have graciously reached out to many of us asking, “what can I do”, “How can I help?” If anyone wants to donate anything for them to help cover gas, hotels, and medical expenses, that would be the most helpful to them currently. Please do NOT feel pressured to do anything!! By all means, your prayers and well wishes are ENOUGH! And let me tell you, we can feel them! God is definitely keeping peace in our hearts and minds, so we thank you for that! I am not going to put this on social media, but you can send it to someone you think would like to see it.
