Paris Marathon 2020

Please help Nick, Rob, Greg, Mark, Steve and Bec raise funds to help Ashton Keynes Primary School  shine even brighter and reach for those stars. 

6 of us have joined together as a team to run the 2020 Paris Marathon. For most of us it is the first time we have run a marathon and for all of us it is many long hours of running ( mainly in the rain and mud ) to help raise funds for this fantastic school project. If you can spare us a thought and a few pounds while we are out running it will help us a lot to  stay motivated and work hard. We all have young children at this amazing school and would like to raise as much as we can.

Samantha Saville and her team have worked tirelessly to create the award-winning school we have in our village today, most recently being ranked 212 in the Sunday Times top State Primary Schools! When you consider there are 16,769 state primary schools in England this puts us in the top
1.5% nationally!

Now it's our turn to help make the facilities of the school live up to the incredible job that the staff are doing and give the current and future children
the best chance to reach for the stars.

The Project – The Learning Hub



We are fundraising to meet the £110,000 that is needed for the additional Central Learning Hub.

The Learning Hub is being built at the same time as the 3 new improved classrooms that have been funded by Wiltshire County Council to replace the old mobile ones.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to transform our school!

The Learning Hub will be at the heart of our modernised school and will provide the much-needed space for:

·         A new library/reading space

·         Break-out areas for small group learning

·         Multiple class learning area so that more than one class can work together when beneficial

·         Specialist teaching zone

·         Music and relaxation space

·         Lunchtime and after school activities and clubs

·         IT facilities

·         Space for community groups to use

·         And so much more....

Whilst the number of children at the school will not increase, this new central space will make a huge difference to children of all ages. They won’t
have to work in their small groups in the corridors anymore!
